Our Craft Room / Meeting area is the hub of social activities.
The Arduino Boys
Some of our guys are fascinated with the latest micro robotics processors. This project is to try and get a solar panel to follow the sun. Testing the sensors and finally building a working device.
Kitchen
Most Mondays we have Bacon Butties at luch time courtesy of one of our members.
We have also teamed up with the NYCC adult learning team who from time to time run cookery demonstrations for us.
We have made everything from soup and curry to fairy cakes. Tasting is the most popular.
Computers
We have 5 or 6 networked computers and have been comparing different operating systems such as Windows, Linux and Android.
This facility has been so attractive that the local computer club has decided to become part of our Shed and from September 2021 Computer Shed will meet here on Tuesday afternoons (Ladies welcome)
