Here is our Craft Room

It doubles as coffee bar / lunch room.

We typically have guys engaged in computer projects, exploring Linux, building plastic models and re-engineering them as well as watercolour painting.

Cookery Sessions

North Yorks County Council sponsor the Adult Learning and Skills Service, who put on a course for us entitled Cooking for Wellbeing.

The first session was Curry and Butterfly buns, the next was Soup, Pizza and Flapjack style seeded slice.

We are planning that these session will repeat monthly.

Some of our Craft Room activities

One of the Arduino projects

Mike and Julian have been playing with Arduino micro-processors, and establishing what they might do with them.

Recently they have been re-purposing CD drives and Scanner parts to see if they could make a viable CNC laser etching machine.

At our open day September 2019

For our open day we had several demonstrations of the guys interests

Models

Mike has been building a model truck with all wheel steering and bed automation
